Windermere, ON – WHI has donated $7500 towards Canadian Friends of Cooperative for Education to contribute to their charitable actions in supporting Guatemalan youth.
The Canadian Friends of Cooperative for Education is a charity on a mission to advance education. They have partnered with US- and Guatemala based non-profit organization Cooperative for Education to deliver innovative programs to aid Guatemalan youth literacy.
Canadian Friends of Cooperative for Education offers two core programs including Rise Youth Development and Teacher Training. Both programs make efforts to eliminate poverty, illiteracy and inequality in Rural Guatemala.
Heather Adamson, Human Resources Manager at Windermere House presented the donation to President of Canadian Friends of Cooperative for Education, Colin Thacker.
The donation made by Windermere House has been generously matched by Windermere House ownership Renee and Lawrence Edwards.
